Self-defense, Workout, Stress Reducer and End To World Hunger:

In this crazy,stressing, modern world where we feel the need to be constantly in touch and in tune, there is a part of most of us that senses something lacking. It needn’t be. While we may not be able to just unplug from technology or eliminate all stress every day, for each day that we train we can experience the single greatest feeling – that of saving a life.

At Two Hands Clapping – Knowledge Rocks!, we offer instruction in seated meditation, aikido, the sword and the stick. In a nutshell, you can learn a fantastic martial art, or you can get a great workout, or you can work to get your stress levels way down – while at the same time knowing that someone, somewhere,  is now alive because of  your efforts.

If you don’t think you can make a difference (both in your own life and in the lives of others), think again!

How is it we are so certain about saving lives? Reducing the stress in your own life is surely guaranteed to help you live longer, live better – and all class fees are donated to the organizations – Oxfam America and Action Against Hunger. Getting fit  will save lives – both yours and others. It’s as simple as that.

Moving Freely is a member-based martial arts club, sharing and practicing seated meditation, aikido, the traditional Japanese wooden sword and the traditional Japanese short staff. This is a ‘working site’ for members, but feel free to poke around, download stuff and watch videos.
